Setting up your account and launching your first automated trading strategy is quick and straightforward. Follow these four steps to get started:
1. Choose Your Portfolio Size
First, specify the total amount of funds you want Stoic to manage. This amount must match the trading balance you currently have (or plan to deposit) on your connected exchange account.
2. Pay the Management Fee
Pay the requested management fee to activate your account. You can pay using a credit card, PayPal, or cryptocurrency.
If paying with crypto: You will be given a unique deposit address tied specifically to your email in our database. We accept fees in supported stablecoins (like USDT or USDC).
⚠️ Important: Send only the fee to this address. The actual capital you want Stoic to trade must remain securely in your personal exchange account!

3. Create Your Exchange API Keys
Once your fee is accepted, go to your cryptocurrency exchange (e.g., Binance, Bybit, Coinbase) and create a new set of API keys.
Ensure you grant the keys permission for Reading and Spot Trading (and Futures Trading, if your chosen strategy requires it).
🚨 CRITICAL: NEVER enable "Withdrawals" on your API keys.

4. Connect the API to Stoic
Return to the Stoic app. The system will ask you to connect your exchange. You have two ways to do this:
Scan the QR Code: Tap the "Open camera" button and scan the API QR code displayed on your exchange screen. (Note: Make sure your Secret Key is visible on the screen when scanning, as it is only shown once right after creation).
Enter Manually: If you are setting everything up on a single device, simply copy and paste your API Key and Secret Key into the respective fields in the Stoic app.

Within 24 hours after you connect the API keys, the algorithm will analyze the market and execute its first trading session! 🚀
🛡️ Your Security Guarantee: You remain in full control over your funds at all times. Stoic is a non-custodial platform—the API key only provides us with access to execute trades on your behalf. We cannot withdraw your money. You are free to deposit more funds, adjust your allocation, or withdraw your assets from your exchange account at any time.
