Stoic Fees and Subscription Plans

This article explains how Stoic pricing works, which plans are available, and when different fees may apply.

Stoic uses a management fee model. You pay for a subscription plan based on your portfolio size. If your balance grows beyond your plan limit, a fee adjustment may apply.

The platform does not charge performance fees, profit sharing, or withdrawal fees. All profits generated by the strategy remain in your portfolio and continue to be reinvested during future rebalancing cycles.

Types of Stoic Fees

Stoic pricing includes two possible fee types:

  • Subscription (management) fees

  • Balance adjustment fees (if your balance exceeds your subscription plan limit)

These fees ensure that the management cost reflects the amount of assets Stoic manages.

1. Subscription Fees

Subscription fees give you access to Stoic portfolio management for a defined period.

You can choose between:

  • Monthly subscription

  • Annual subscription

The fee level depends on the amount of assets managed by Stoic, also called Assets Under Management (AUM). Each subscription plan includes a specific AUM limit covered by the subscription fee. Stoic will manage all funds available in your connected exchange account, even if the balance exceeds your plan limit.

If the portfolio value exceeds the AUM limit included in your plan, a balance adjustment fee may apply to the excess amount.

Once your subscription is active:

  • Stoic manages your portfolio for the full prepaid period.

  • No additional fees are charged during the subscription period, even if your portfolio grows due to market performance.

In other words, portfolio growth does not increase your fee until the next billing cycle.

Important Note About Exchange Balances

Stoic manages all funds available in the Spot balance of the connected exchange account. If you prefer to keep certain assets outside the strategy, consider using a separate exchange account for Stoic.

It is also recommended not to place manual trading orders on the same account connected to Stoic. Manual trades may interfere with the automated strategy.

2. Balance Adjustment Fees

Balance adjustment fees may apply if the funds in your exchange account exceed the AUM limit of your current subscription plan. If additional funds increase your portfolio above your plan limit, Stoic will calculate a management fee adjustment.

The adjustment equals 5% of the amount exceeding your plan limit, calculated for the remaining duration of your prepaid subscription period.

This adjustment reflects the additional assets that Stoic will manage for the rest of the billing cycle.

Example:

Assume your current plan covers $5,000 in AUM. If your exchange account balance increases to $7,000, the additional $2,000 exceeds your plan limit.

In this case, the adjustment fee will be calculated on the $2,000 excess amount for the remaining time in your subscription period.

How Fee Adjustments Are Processed

When Stoic detects additional funds:

  • You will receive payment instructions by email.

  • The fee applies only to the additional assets exceeding your plan limit.

Important Notes About Deposits

Stoic can automatically detect crypto deposits in your exchange account.

Deposits made in fiat currency may not be detected automatically, even if they are later converted to crypto.

If you deposit fiat:

  1. Convert the funds into USDT or another supported crypto asset.

  2. Contact support through the in-app chat.

  3. Provide the deposit amount so the system can recalculate the fee if necessary.

Transfers Between Wallets

Stoic may not detect transfers between internal exchange wallets such as:

  • Spot wallets

  • Margin wallets

  • Futures wallets

  • Sub-accounts

If you move funds between these wallets, the system may not automatically detect the balance change. In that case, please contact support through the in-app chat so the system can update the fee calculation.

Minimum Fee Threshold

Stoic does not request payment for very small balance adjustments. If the calculated adjustment fee is below 30 USDT, the system continues trading normally.

Once total adjustments exceed 30 USDT, Stoic will request payment.

Important Note

Stoic can place trades through your exchange API but cannot withdraw funds from your exchange account. All assets remain under your control and responsibility at all times.
