Welcome to Stoic! To automate your portfolio (discover more at đ stoic.ai), you need to link your Binance.US account via API.
Step-by-Step Connection Guide
1. Select Your Strategy in Stoic
After signing up in the Stoic app, choose your preferred trading strategy. The app will then prompt you to connect an exchange and display a list of Trusted IP addresses.
2. Navigate to Binance.US API Management
Open a web browser, log in to your Binance.US account, and click on your Profile icon in the top right corner. Select API Management from the dropdown menu.
đĄ Important: Stoic will manage all funds available in your Spot balance. If you want to hold certain coins long-term without Stoic trading them, it is highly recommended to use a separate Binance.US account.

3. Create and Label Your Key
Click on Create API. You will be asked to give the key a label â we suggest naming it something recognizable, like "Stoic API Key". Confirm the creation by inputting your security verification codes (2FA and email).

4. Configure Trading Permissions
Once the key is created, click the Edit restrictions button.
Check the box for Enable Spot Trading (or Enable Spot & Margin Trading).
Leave Enable Withdrawals unchecked (Never enable this!).

5. Add Trusted IP Addresses (Crucial)
To prevent your keys from expiring every 90 days, scroll down to the IP restriction settings.
Select Restrict access to trusted IPs only.
Copy the IP addresses provided in your Stoic app, paste them into the field, and click Confirm and Save.

6. Enter Keys into the Stoic App
Copy the API Key and Secret Key from Binance.US and paste them into the corresponding fields in the Stoic app to finish the connection.
â ď¸ Note: The Secret Key is only displayed once. After you leave the page, it will be hidden forever. If you lose it, you will need to delete this API and create a new one.

â Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Why do my Binance.US API keys expire after 90 days?
A: Binance.US automatically expires unrestricted API keys after 90 days for safety reasons. To make your API keys permanent, you must complete Step 5 and add Stoic's trusted IP addresses.
Q: Can Stoic withdraw my money?
A: No. You only grant "Reading" and "Spot Trading" permissions to the API key. Stoic physically cannot move funds out of your exchange account.
