Creating a Sub-Account on Binance is a great tool for separating your trading balances. If you want to run multiple Stoic algorithms at the same time (for example, Meta and Crypto Index), you must use Sub-Accounts. Running different strategies on a single main balance causes severe trading conflicts.
đĄ REQUIREMENTS: The Sub-Account feature is available to all regular Binance users. You can create up to 5 sub-accounts as long as your main account has completed Identity Verification (KYC) and has Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled.
Step-by-Step Guide to Creating a Sub-Account
Step 1: Go to the Sub-Accounts Section Log into your main Binance account. Hover over your profile icon in the top right corner and click on Dashboard. In the left sidebar menu, find and click on the Sub Accounts section.
Step 2: Click the "Create Sub Account" Button In the menu that opens, go to the Account Management tab. In the top right corner of the page showing the list of your accounts, find and click the yellow + Create Sub Account button.

Create with virtual email (Recommended for Stoic): A virtual account created instantly without needing a separate email address or password. You simply provide a name (e.g., "Stoic Meta Strategy"). Management is handled entirely via your main account.
Create with email: A sub-account linked to a real, separate email address (must not already be registered on Binance). Requires setting a password and verifying the new email.
3rd-Party Custodian: Used for institutional funds holding assets with external regulated custodians (not required for standard Stoic use).
Step 4: Configure Access Permissions After successful creation, the new account will appear in your list. By default, spot trading is enabled. In the "Action" column next to your new sub-account, you can:
Enable Margin and Futures trading: (Required if you plan to run futures-based Stoic strategies like Meta or BTC Yield).
Manage Security: Reset 2FA or change passwords (for email-based accounts).
Step 5: Transfer Funds and Create API Keys Before Stoic can start trading, you must fund the sub-account and connect it:
Navigate to the Asset Management tab within the Sub-Accounts menu.
Use the Transfer button to move funds (e.g., USDT) from your Main Account to your new Sub-Account.
Go to the API Management tab within the Sub-Accounts menu to create a unique API Key specifically for this new balance.

Now that your Sub-Account is created and funded, it's time to connect it to the Stoic app:
