To use Stoic's high-performance strategies like Meta, BTC Yield, or Superforecasters, your Binance account must have Futures trading enabled. If you have never traded futures on Binance before, your Futures wallet is deactivated by default.
Because of this, you won't be able to check the "Enable Futures" box when creating your API key. Fortunately, activating it only takes a couple of minutes!
⚠️ REGIONAL RESTRICTIONS: Binance Futures trading is restricted in several regions due to local regulations (e.g., the UK, Canada, Australia, and certain European countries). If you do not see the "Derivatives" or "Futures" tab in your Binance menu, it means this feature is not available in your region.
Step-by-Step Guide to Activating Binance Futures
Step 1: Go to the Futures Section
Log into your Binance main account (or your specific Sub-Account if you are using one). On the top navigation menu, hover over Derivatives (or Futures on the mobile app) and select USD(S)-M Futures.
(Note: Stoic strategies use USDT, so we strictly use USD(S)-M, not COIN-M).

Step 2: Open Your Futures Account
Once you enter the Futures trading interface, a pop-up window will appear asking you to open a Futures account. You may be asked to enter a referral code (you can leave this blank). Read the Terms of Use, check the agreement box, and click Open Now.

Step 3: Complete the Brief Quiz (If Prompted)
Because futures trading carries higher risks, Binance requires all new futures users to complete a short educational quiz. Don't worry if you make a mistake — Binance will highlight the correct answers and let you try again until you pass.
Step 4: Update Your API Key
Now that your Futures wallet is active, go back to your API Management page. Edit your existing API key, and you will now be able to successfully check the Enable Futures box!
💡 Good to know: You do not need to manually transfer funds to your Futures wallet. Simply opening the account is enough to unlock the API checkbox. Stoic will handle the rest!
