Autosavings should be off, right?

Learn why the Binance Earn feature conflicts with Stoic's trading algorithms and how to disable Auto-Subscribe to ensure your funds are properly managed.

To ensure our trading algorithms (discover more at 👉 stoic.ai) work perfectly, please make sure your Binance Auto-Subscribe (Earn) feature is completely turned off!

What is Binance Earn (formerly Savings)? Binance Earn is a financial product that allows users to earn interest on their idle crypto assets. If you have the "Auto-Subscribe" feature enabled, Binance automatically transfers your available balance from your main Spot wallet to your Earn wallet every day.

How does it affect Stoic's performance? Stoic only has access to the funds located in your main Spot (and Futures) wallets. Any assets transferred to the Earn account cannot be managed by the algorithm.

This causes two major issues:

  • Missed opportunities: Stoic cannot use those funds to open or manage trades.

  • Incorrect analytics: It leads to incorrect calculation of your returns, as Stoic's tracking system considers the funds sent to the Earn account as "withdrawn" or lost.

How can I disable Auto-Subscribe and return my funds? To ensure Stoic works correctly, please follow these steps to disable the feature and move your funds back:

  1. Log in to your Binance account.

  2. Go to your Wallet and select the Earn section from the top menu.

  3. Review your list of assets. If you see the Auto-Subscribe toggle turned on for any of your coins (especially USDT or base altcoins), please disable it.

4. If some of your funds have already been automatically transferred there, click on the asset and select Redeem. Choose the maximum amount and confirm.

Note: Once you click Redeem, your funds will instantly return to your Fiat and Spot wallet, placing them back under Stoic's management!

❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Do I lose money or pay a penalty if I redeem my funds early? A: No. Most flexible savings on Binance can be redeemed instantly at any time without any penalties or fees.

Q: Can I keep a portion of my portfolio in Binance Earn manually? A: Yes, you can manually subscribe funds to Earn. However, Stoic will not be able to trade those assets, and it may throw off your portfolio analytics in the app. For the best experience, we strongly recommend using a separate Binance Sub-Account specifically for Stoic.

Q: What if I disabled Auto-Subscribe but Stoic still shows the wrong balance? A: Sometimes it takes a few hours for the exchange API to sync fully. If your Spot balance is correct on Binance but wrong in Stoic, try manually updating your API keys in the app or waiting for the next synchronization cycle.
